Hi, everyone. I am applying to the Yakima branch of the WSU BSN program for the Fall 2021 cohort. As I'm sure everyone is or was, I am pretty nervous about the application process and am wanting to get a sense of where I may stand as an applicant. I would love to hear other's thoughts/concerns/comments they had about the application and interview process.
My CUM GPA is a 3.51 and my pre-req GPA is a 3.42. Having worked as a CNA over the Summer and other volunteer opportunities, I have about 282 experience hours. For Fall 2021, WSU Nursing has waived the TEAS exam.
I know GPA is a primary factor in the decision process, and I am reaching out to hear other's GPA's upon application and if they were accepted into the program
I found out I was waitlisted and called to confirm, they can not tell you your spot on the waitlist and may not figure out if you’re accepted off the waitlist until right before the semester begins.

That's really frustrating they don't tell you your spot on the waitlist. I know at least two people who have been waitlisted and then gotten in, so hopefully that'll be the case!
Me too, my biggest concern is finding a place to live if I get offered a spot last minute, but I already have had a friend offer her couch up too me ?
Yeah that totally makes sense... I'm already living in Spokane and I can tell you that there are tons of really cheap apartments you can sign last minute! But that's still stressful. Keep us updated if you hear back! ?
hi, are you talking about from the nursing school or wsu spokane admissions because my application says "complete, under review" as well
The last I checked, my status was also "complete, under review," but I also never received any kind of notification during the scheduled notification week as to whether I made it into nursing school or not. If I didn't, I would expect to hear something rather than left hanging.
