WSSU ABSN spring 2018

Hello everyone, I curious if anyone applied to WSSU absn next spring. I am not sure if I can apply to WSSU since I am only graduate in December this year from UNCG. I have all the prerequisite requirement for this program but not sure about the chemistry course. In the websites, only general chemistry for chemistry requirement. I took CHM 131 with a lab in GTCC but I am not sure it still counts. Please feel free to give any opinion, suggestion or advice. Thanks

I've heard that they send emails to everyone letting them know if they were accepted or not mid-October. So we have a little while to wait. Good luck everyone!

I have applied for the upcoming cohort. Very nervous as my career is sort of at a standstill. Applied to PA schools and got rejected from all. Pretty discouraging, but I'm determined to not have a wasted 4 year degree that won't get me anywhere. I have read other forums and I believe most people hear something around mid-October. Best of luck to us all! Cannot wait to hear back; I'm getting very anxious..

hey everyone! I just applied as well and am anxiously waiting for mid-October to get here! I was wondering if anyone knew if we had to have our prerequisites done before applying or it we can be enrolled in a class and get accepted pending our final grade. Thanks!

I feel like I read somewhere on WSSU's nursing site that all pre-requisites should be completed before applying. Only a month left (maybe less) until we find out. Getting anxious!!

Hi Kassi123, I am currently in the program now (N16) and my teacher mentioned in class there were about 200 applicants. They admit 45 each year.

Hello everyone! I have applied as well and I am sooo nervous. Somehow I just found this thread, but I am glad I did! I have a bachelors in exercise science and was a student athlete. Decided too late that I didn't want to be a PT.. therefor I'm taking the long way around being a nurse lol. I have a decent undergrad gpa.. but read online that they only look at the first grade in a class of you retake it. Which stinks since I made a C+ in anatomy. Crossing my fingers! Hope to see you all in January. :)
