And does anyone have any examples or documents that they who wrote are used in school I think I might be willing to share that I can model my project after

What you wrote is somewhat confusing to me.

If you want samples of writing done by nurses, there are many, many, many nursing journals. Ask your school librarian to help you find some. If you look through several of them, you will find all sorts of writing-- poetry, case reports, research, fiction, advocacy, training, opinion pieces... see what you find.

Nurses can do all sorts of writing!

There are tons of nursing journals--some are very scientific/clinical and demonstrate research nurses have been involved with (usually regarding patient care, staffing issues, incorporating new policies in specific healthcare settings, etc). Or there are more general magazine-like journals, where nurses write articles for other nurses. These can be about changes in healthcare, new drugs or laws, or opinion pieces.

Nurses may write grants or proposals. They may write on behalf of their hospital--for hospital newsletters, policy change suggestions, etc.

Even a nurse who has no interest in writing learns how to be a good writer: nursing notes, careplans, progress reports, teaching documents... all of these have to be clear, concise, and relevant. Plus, nurses have to be aware that what they write should be legally/ethically sound.

Does that answer your question? I highly doubt anyone would give you a "sample," as that sounds a little ethically gray. But, you can certainly check out nursing journals as someone else suggested, or look online for examples of effective nursing notes and documentation examples.

Nurses can write research for say diabetes education including the overall goals of the project, how the study and project was conducted, success or accomplishments, failures and problems. BUt, you have to determine what interests you. You cannot write about somehting you don't care about. This is a lower division English so they do not expect a doctorate level research paper. I suggest looking in your book and see how they tell you to write a paper or google the topic. I think your problem is more on how to start your paper. Your text book will help. You have been given plenty of ideas and should be able to move forward. Even 'modeling' your paper after another persons is probably not going to help you in the long term. Doing the work the hard way helps you to grow. I like this web site on how to write a paper. He was one of my fave professors and I miss him alot. He died a few years back but I loved his wit and intelligence. He taught us HOW to WRITE and not how to model a paper. GOOD LUCK-link is below:

I'm wondering if the OP wants to know the types of things nurses write in their daily work? Things like assessments, nursing notes and the like.

OP - if you're still out there, try writing a description of a sick person - a sick baby if you want. Describe your findings in terms of body systems - what does their skin look like? their breathing sound like? Their cough? Their cry? Their expression? How are they positioned?
