Writing CPNRE in May 2011

Hi Everyone! I am starting this thread so that all of us who are writing cpnre on May 18, 2011 can get together and share their views and experiences as we go along and prepare for the exam. I am preparing for the exam by using different review books so that I get to know the test taking strategies. Although I am above average student but I am really nervous to write this exam and I am sure most of us are. I have my own study group and also planning to take a prep course to just brush up on the theory. I will keep this thread updated everyday as to how my preparations are going and will also share some tips to write the exam that I will be learning. Keep studying hard.

The only results I have heard about, has been from everyone that has all passed (about 12 classmates). I haven't heard from anyone that has failed. This waiting is killing me.

Whoever heard its 144 did u hear that from someone who fails???

Did anyone from northern ontario received there results?

I heard were allowed to call in to see if we pass not sure if its true...

Wow. In january it was 143. Ud think it would be lower in May

Does anyone know how many tester questions there were, on this exam?

Still no results here yet .. mail hasn't came yet though. Does anyone know if our names will go onto the CNO find a nurse if we passed?!

No, our names won't show on the CNO find a nurse if we pass. After we get our letter of passing, then we need to send in $ for our registration. I believe it takes 2 weeks to process, then our names will show on the CNO find a nurse. Hope this helps.
