[Ms. Nurse Assistant, LPN]

I've decided to leave Michigan and go to an Ohio school because I heard these schools have no waiting lists. I called Wright University and they told me they had no waiting list. Anyone attending this school is this true? I will most likely be living on campus. Which is the better choice?

These are there pre-reqs to get into their nursing school.

Now, where they say Anatomy&Physiology are those two separate classes or one? The same for Micro&Immunology ?

I'm a BSN student at Wright State and it is true that there is no waiting list. Admission is solely based on GPA. I've never seen such a short application before in my life. At the time that I applied, the only thing on the application was: Name/Address of applicant and current GPA (although an essay was req'd, I'm not really sure they give it much weight). So, if a student's GPA isn't high enough, he or she has to wait until the next application period to apply. Every admission period, the cutoff for GPA (admission) is changed based on the GPA scores of everyone applying. I believe last quarter the admission cutoff was a 3.5...but don't quote me on that (it does seem to go up every admissions pd).

Anatomy & Physiology is one class but it has 2 sections (at the time that I took it): A&P 201 & 202. Micro was one class also. However, it does look like they've changed somethings since I entered the program. To be sure, just call the College of Nursing. The secretary is really nice and will answer all of your questions or link you with an advisor that can.

If you're at all interested in UT, they are having a nursing information meeting tonight @ 5:00 for all programs (DNP, MSN, BSN, ADN). You just have to call and let them know you are coming. All the info is on their website. They too base enrollment on GPA. When I talked to the recruiter last month she said the current GPA cutoff for the BSN program was a 3.4 and the ADN program was a 3.0. THey base your GPA off of ALL prior coursework though. So my business classes clear back from '98 count towards that GPA.

The BSN program is also in consoratorium w/ BGSU so there are more applicants trying to get those seats.

I'm hoping to get into the Spring '10 ADN program. I missed the fall start by one darn pre-req

At wright university can you get admitted during the summer and live on campus?

I think WSU only admits twice a yr-spring quarter and fall quarter. I don't know anything about campus housing.
