Wow so i won't find a job?!

I'm getting really really worried here! I've been browsing the Illinois nursing thread and seems like landing a job as a new ADN grad is practically impossible! All these prereqs and applying and wanting to be accepted to later not be able to find a job?! Scary.

I just applied n expect response by Nov 25th but I don't know if I'm even excited anymore about my nursing career.

Sorry but I can't live on 18 or 9 dollars in my area and pay my bills.

Also the 7 dollar bonus you spoke of, I was told by the company that is available after 1 year of meeting all goals. Not worth it, IMO.

I did not stay in this company also but they were saying to us after 60 days. Maybe they say different things to different people because they constantly are hiring.

trust me as a single mom going back for nursing I have lived on 12.00 snd hour! you might not be in Lincoln park or mostly white areas but you can live ! 18.00 is better than the min wage I get now . id take it and keep looking !
