 Hello everyone,

I really need some advise. In the last 5mos my life has taken a drastic turn. It all started when I resigned from a very stressful job. I decided to find employment that was more enjoyable. When I left I felt confident that I would find employment. During that time I applied for advance education. I spent the time off to prepare to start school and further my careers. All was well. I felt really good. Then as the months pasted by no employment. Interviews after interviews no employment. This is strange did have problems in the past. In anyway kept positive things will turn around. Then I received notice that I didn't get into any of the advance education program in which I applied. Wow what a kick in the face. It took me the whole weekend I am still not over the shock.

Now I am at a loss for words what is going on? So I have reached out to my previous employer to get my old job back. Wow it's tough out here. You always hear about people doing what they love, having job satisfaction. I have learned a valuable lession be great you have a job, life is tough it's not about getting what you want it's about paying your bills and hoping you survive in the process. Not quite sure if I'll get my old job back but what was I thinking too many positive thinking books. This was a real reality check. Thanks for reading. I wish you all the best. To those of you that truly enjoy your job thats a real blessing. Take care you'all.:crying2:

I quit a ridiculously stressful job 2 years ago (as a loan officer, they wanted me to lie to customers..no way:mad:), and haven't found a job since! I applied for thousands of jobs, and that is not an exaggeration. I used to get calls about jobs, but once the economy turned, never heard a word. That's just the economy. You just have to ride it out. It will bounce back, but it takes a while.
