If you are an American RN what steps can you take to practice nursing abroad??? I would love to do that..any advice would be appreciated. I am looking at Europe--France, UK

Do you know of any agency going to Bermuda?? I just want to get away......:D

We have plenty of threads discussing France and the UK. For the UK you will have to meet NMC requirements and if your job experience is in an area on the job shortage occupation list you may be lucky to get a job and work permit otherwise expect long long delays as unemployment in the UK is high and jobs go to UK/EU first

Nursing on military bases sometimes is possible.

Agency nursing to the islands?

I am done with attempting agency nurse. I feel like it's almost a joke. One minute they call and say oh yes we have an assignment for you and next minute they call and say sorry it's gone. I just can't play that game. I just chalked it up to maybe agency or traveling nursing isn't for me:confused:

You might want to try to look at Guam Memorial, or the Northern Mariana Islands CHC Hospital.
