Hi,

I will be starting an accelerated BSN program this fall and currently am trying to get hired by my local hospital to get some extra experience/exposure. My first degree was not in health/science. I applied for a lab tech position since they will train but I have not heard back. Does anyone have suggestions/advice?

not sure if you have been in or just mailed a resumee, but I would continue to follow up, call them ask about the position remind them you have sent your info in. They are very busy and sometimes unless you call directly you'll never hear. I used to work in a hospital I got the job only because I called after sending in my info. So be sure to follow up.
