Having been fairly young when I was pregnant, I myself contemplated abortion(though I changed my mind). So I actually thought about this when I started nursing school and think that I would have no trouble doing this. I believe that every mother should have the choice, and in some ways it would be rewarding being able to help a woman cope and give her support that she may not have. Just for the record I do not believe in partial birth abortions, but that , to me, is a whole other issue. So, to answer your Q, yes I would contemplate this area of work(if I lived in a larger area that had more facilities to chose from), and would be able to give someone a pill to induce a miscariage.
Yes I would. I don't, because I work NICU and not OR, but I would be proud to stand up against extremism to help safeguard a woman's right to be more than an incubator. Abortion rights are being eroded day by day and I think that's wrong. I do donate to a pro-choice group. I can't see myself becoming pregnant unexpectedly, but if I did I would like to have every choice available to me.
Plus, I think the babies that will be mad at me in heaven will be the 23 weekers we torture for months on end in the hope that they will live a life full of suffering. Pro-life can be good or bad depending on the circumstances.
I wouldn't because I don't believe in abortion. I am also Catholic and don't want to be responsible to my Higher Up. Saying that I am a bit of a weird one. I personally don't believe in them but I don't think I have the right to judge others or choose what they do. Still someone else can assist. There are plenty of people who believe in abortion who can do it. I also won't assist in a circ.

I am just curious. Would you ever work in an abortion clinic? Would you give pills that would cause an abortion? Thanks
