Soo..it took me twice to apply to the practical nursing program and I finally got accepted this time. Class starts may 4th and I'm beyond excited..but I'm worried BC orientation is April 8th which is mandatory and my due date with my second child is April 16th...I'm just worried I'll be in labor in the hospital on orientation day....ugh I'm a nervous wreck...idk what to do....

Perhaps you could alleviate your stress by speaking to someone at the school to alert them to your circumstances. I would assume that with a heads up, they will be willing to work with you to get through this time. Hope all goes well with your delivery!

Congratulations on getting accepted and the new addition!
I agree that you should absolutely contact your school, and soon. My school also has a mandatory orientation, but they make exceptions for extenuating circumstances. Case in point, my classmate was due around the beginning of the semester, and she stayed in communication with the director of the program. She was told that she wouldn't lose her spot if she went into labor and couldn't make it to the orientation. And sure enough, she didn't lose her spot when she missed the orientation.
Just communicate with the director of your program prior to orientation. The worst thing they can tell you is that they cannot make an exception, and hope for the best (which yes, I realize that would be awful). If they are going to work with you, it's not going to be if you miss orientation and contact them after the fact..
Best of luck!

I think death or dilation would be a good excuse for missing oreintation. Congrats on getting accepted and a new baby! Omgosh, i think i would have lost my mind going to school with a new baby. Good luck!

I agree on both counts! Honestly, let your school know in advance. There's usually a clause that allows absences for severe medical issues. It's not like you can tell the baby to wait a day if they decide to come during orientation, right? As for going to nursing school with a new born, you are one brave woman! Congratulations, and good luck with your program!
