This year, my workplace is giving away a special holiday gift to one employee a day for a week. In theory, this seems like a fun idea. However, this sort of reminds me of my Employee of the Month thread. Not everyone deserving of recognition or, in this case a gift, will receive it. Only 7 employees will receive a holiday gift out of the 60+ people who are employed.
I am wondering if a better thing to do would be to give smaller gifts to everyone, rather than larger gifts to only a select few. Thoughts? Does your workplace do anything special for the nurses/CNAs for the holidays?
