Working visa for foreign nurse

Published

Hi!

I'm a foreign nurse from Austria. I passed the NCLEX-RN and the IELTS and received RN certification in New York State. Does anyone know, once I apply for Visa Screen, how long does it take for that to translate into an actual working visa? Also, do I still need sponsorship, or is the visa automatic? And what kind of visa would I have to apply for?

Thank to anyone who can help me!

hi there.. i am a nurse form the philippines, I passed nclex in new mexico and ielts and had a visa screen already, my priority date is sept., 2007, right now we cant really say how long will it take the process because of retrogression..there are no available immigrant visas for foreign nurses right now. i can advice you take a working visa instead.. its a lot faster..

Can you help me.. I am planning to work in austria rather than in the usa, i am educated here in the philippines.. what will i do first?

thank you,

eric
