I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and I work as a critical care tech in the ER and I am in my last year of nursing school. I have been so sick all day and night and I don't know how to survive work and clinicals. I can't take time off work, I can't afford it, and I obviously have to go to clinicals. I have tried everything I can think of and nothing seems to help the nausea not even meds. Anyone out there gone through this or have any advice?

You can only do so much, you won't be able to sustain working/clinicals if you are that ill. It may mean taking a year off nursing school and going on long term sick leave at work .

Cerazo 2 Posts Nov 11, 2017 I should have clarified. I'm not really looking for medical advice. I have already been to see my OB and I am already on medications. I'm just curious if anyone has any tips for getting through my shifts.
