I think it would be best to get experience where you want to work, i.e. in the states. If you can't get a job then foreign experience is better than none. Working abroad would be a great experience, but I have no idea how this is looked on by employers.
As for getting your BSN, if you have the chance now, I would say do it. It may not be possible in the future with family, kids, and so on. Then if your career is doing well, then you are only one degree from a Masters. If you wait, it might never happen and this will limit your employment as some hospitals require BSNs.

Well Im a nursing student, still deciding if im gonna get my BSN or just ADN.
Anyway, I have family in Mexico in the suburbs, and in China who are in the medical field. (my grandma is a chinese immigrant)
Would it be better to get some experience outside the country and then try to apply for a job in the states, I live in Texas?
Any thoughts?
