Is it even possible to work nights and go to nursing school? I started as a Nuse Aide during the Summer and now my Nursing school will start in 2 weeks and I am not sure how that will work out. I have to keep my job. Can I go to school right after work? Has anyone done that? I need some advice please.
Thanks
I just wanted to see how your school and working was going. how everything is working out for you!!
Thank you for checking back. EVERYTHING has changed since I began Nursing school. After I have worked only for one week nights as planned and went streight to school after, I knew then that I will not be succesfull if I keep doing this. I mean all I could think of during lecture is how I want to go to sleep!!!
I called my HR department and told them the story and they have offered me a PRN position. Now I only work Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights (no school on Mondays) and it is working out great.
hey guys i just started working nights while going to school. i have classes from 6-9pm on tues and thurs, clinicals every other weekend. at work i have to work 10 shifts within a bi- weekly pay periods, including one weekend. on the weekends i have clinicals i have off that friday , sat, sun night.
