Hello everyone! I am posting on here today to find out what some of you do for work. I am currently working on getting my RN license im taking only two classes this semester Microbiology & Bioethics/law and will be starting my nursing courses next year. I wanted to know what types of jobs some of you have, I am considering taking some CNA courses during the winter break so I can atleast have some hospital experience outside of clinicals once I graduate and also to have money for books uniforms etc. But i dont know if that will be too much of a workload with the nursing courses. If any of you have any input I would greatly appreciate it, also if some of you have taken this route of taking a CNA or similar job during nursing school. Thanks!

I am completing my nursing pre reqs right now. I'm taking Sociology, English, Communications, and A&P I. I completed my CNA course this past summer so I could gain some experience while in school. I am now working as a CNA and am going to also complete the PCT course so I can hopefully get a job at a hospital. I plan to work all throughout nursing school. I've also got two kids at home, a husband, and a house to keep up with. You can do it if this is what you really want.
