Work requirement for licensure in Vermont and New Hampshire

I have an active license in Pennsylvania but have not practiced in the last 5+ years. Like many states, there is a prior work requirement component to the endorsement licensure in Vermont and New Hampshire. Does anyone know how I can get my license in Vermont (or New Hampshire)? Can I do a re-entry program and get licensed? Do I need to take the NCLEX? I am 66 years old, licensed long ago. Help!!!

I hope someone sees this, and helps you, as i once thought same thing about getting a florida nursing license (that one had to be employed recently to qualify)

and someone pointed out to me, that THAT requirement only applied to people who had NOT taken the NCLEX.

not sure if Vermont or New Hampshire will be that way, but, it's sometimes mistakenly thought Florida is that way.

Guess no one has seen this, maybe you should CALL the bon of those states to clarify. It is not impossible you have misinterpreted the application. I'd check with BON to be 100% sure.

Like i said, i had misinterpreted FLA's application, til someone told me i misunderstood the requirements,

and upon a re-read of FLA rules---------- i DID spot a tiny little "or" added onto end of a paragraph,

which did change the meaning of that entire page.

Vermont requires a refresher course, it is offered by Vermont Tech. It consists of both classroom and clinical time. We had a nurse do her clinical on my old floor, but I don't know much beyond that. I would also call the BON for details. VT is small, so it shouldn't be problem contacting anyone. I don't know anything about NH.
