please share your experience especially internationally graduated nurses..:)

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

I think the issue from what you have written is qualifying 6 years ago and no experience. Usually TX requires a refresher course can you not do that?

Hi , thanks for your response. I have 14 months of clinical experience but that's not enough and moreover that was in 2011. I am more happy to do the FENS course if they allow me to take NCLEX exam first and grant me visa to take the course coz i will be applying from outside US...

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

You won't be granted a visa to take a FENS refresher course. It does not meet the requirements for a student or work visa. The board of nursing does not grant or sponsor visas.

Can you work as a RN in the country you are currently living in? If so, work and gain recent practice experience.
