Hello,
I graduated from my PN program in early August and due to some financial set backs and family issues I have had to spend my post grad time working. I should be able to register for the test in mid to late November and hopefully be able to test in November or December, so I am just wanting to know how those that have been in similar situations or that are in similar situations have felt about their chances of passing etc. I personally feel like I still can pass but as the weeks pass I am feeling more and more like I may fail, simply because I am not constantly studying and using my knowledge and skills clinically.

I took my nclex 5 months after I graduated. It was during holidays and the California boards were "behind". You can definitely still pass. Review every single day. Don't go more than 3 days without cracking a book. Because 3 days turns into a week and test day will be here before you know it.
Thanks for the encouragement, I will take heed to your advice. I currently haven't been doing more than 2 days a week of studying so I will definitely step it up.

I am a single mother of 5 kids and 1 has special needs so as you can imagine my time is very limited. It was 2 months after graduation that I was able to take my nclex. I felt like I never had time to study. I bought the Saunders nclex pn flashcards and carried them with me everywhere that I went. Always having some type of study material with you can really help alot because you can use any given moment to study/review your material. My son had several trips to the ER and I had my cards with me for the down time there also and the nursed where great resources also. My point is just find the study time when you can :)
Thank you for the encouragement and congrats to you for getting it down yourself.
