Wondering about the travling nurse option...

I am a nursing student and i was wondering, after i get my LPN could i be a travling nurse and go to Hawaii or some other place or to i have to get my RN?

LPNs can be travelers, but it may limit your options. Some places do not use LPNs, just like some places do not use travelers at all.

With Hawaii it will be almost impossible to find a travel nurse position for there. If any travel positions are available, they are in the smaller towns and on the mainland. You would be much better off to get your RN if you plan on doing the travel thing.............many more positions are available.
