I was just wondering if anyone applied to both the lpn program as well as the rn program? When it comes time for me to apply I would just feel better having a backup. Although i suppose there is no guarentee for either of them. But i just want to end up in some form of nursing. Also I know you can do volunteer work for points towards lpn but what about the rn program. Any help would be appreciated as well as maybe sharing some of your own experiance. Thank you.

Most of the schools where I'm from let you apply to both the RN and LPN programs. At every school I applied to I did that with the RN program as my first choice. Ask a program instructor or the program director.

I'm pretty sure you can. The way I read it is: you can apply to more than one limited entry program (only one track per program, FT or PT). If you are offered a spot more than one program, then you'll have to choose between them.

ya totally... I'm applying to all colleges (in the area) for both RN and LVN programs. As long as I get accepted to A nursing program I'll be sane
