I'm a LPN currently doing a job search in anticpation of graduating with my RN in Dec. LPNs were utilitzed here in the hospital, but not so much anymore. Since there are plenty of RNs to use, they will pick RNs over LPNs at this point. It will probably cycle back if the economy gets better. But LPNs are still being fully utilized in LTC other jobs.
