I am really nervous. Tomorrow is my first check off - vital signs. I'm afraid I'll lose track when counting radial or apical pulse or not read the blood pressure correctly. The BP is attached to the wall and is a little hard to read from the bedside. I have to squint and I'm not always sure I read it right.
I keep telling myself go slowly. Don't forget to ask about hot/cold foods and smoking. Don't forget to verbalize about contraindications for taking blood pressure on an arm (mastectomy, dialysis, etc).
Please think positive thoughts my way tomorrow afternoon. Thanks!
