Winter Feb/March 2020 Nurse Residency at UC Health, Children's Hospital Colorado and Centura

Starting a post to get updates on the Winter Nurse Residency Cohort's in Colorado at UC Health, Children's and Centura. I received an email from UC Health but that is it. Has anyone gotten an interview invite yet? Let's post updates etc. in this forum!

Congrats on the interview. When and how did they contact you? Are their interview dates all in Jan.? I don't know anything about the process other than what I have read in previous years on this website. I think it will be behavioral based questions from a panel of people.

My interview with UCHEALTH Denver I thought went really well and they said we would hear decisions (either way) by 12/24 and I still haven’t heard anything yet. I was flying all day yesterday so I’m not sure if they called me while my phone was on airplane mode, but I don’t have any voicemails or emails. Hoping to hear something today or tomorrow.

Glad to hear it went well! Hopefully they call soon!! The waiting is awful! I still haven't heard from either so hoping for a call soon for an interview!

So I didn’t get the job at UC Health ? Hopefully you get a call soon! I’m hoping to hear something from CHC Denver soon because I have another interviews at another facility that I don’t really want, but need a job haha.

Thanks! I was sad at first, but honestly did not really feel like my interviewer was great either. She wasn’t really able to answer my questions, but nonetheless, I was happy for the experience! Yes, I’m currently on the E Coast and am having a hard time finding anyone in this area who is hiring new grads.

I am looking into UChealth and graduating in may. Do you have to go through their residency program to work here as a new grad? thanks!

Where did you decide to go for residency? I am looking at these facilities for NICU residency as well. Thanks!

Hi everyone, after the 2 yr nursing residency were you able to transition to days? Did you have the opportunity not to work holidays after two years?
