Will This Be A Good Ideal?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I want to be a nurse. The only problem is my GPA is 2.09 and I took Anatomy over 3 times & the last time I got a D. Next semester will be my last semester in my two year school.I wanted to know if I take Anatomy over with Micro and transfer to a 4 year school do I have a chance to get accepted 4 year school nursing program?

Every nursing program is going to have a minimum GPA requirement. The lowest requirement I have seen for a BSN is 3.0, and for an ADN it has been 2.8. Keep in mind however, that it is very unlikely that you are going to get accepted into a program with the bare minimum. As far as taking A and P,and Micro together your basically setting yourself up to fail. I don't mean for that to sound harsh but if you are truly serious then you really need to make every class count. Better to get an A taking one class than to get 2 B's, especially if your trying to bring your GPA up.

Heaven knows I can't spell worth spit, but "IDEAL?" I'm thinking you may have more acedemic issues than just A&P. Does your school offer any career aptitude testing? I'm thinking your student advisor would be a better place to start than AN.com

Definitely better to get an A than two B's, 100% agreed there. Take Anatomy alone if you have to and focus your entire semester, but seriously, if you're already having a hard time, please do not combine those two...you may have to cut out activities in your life, but it's worth it! You have to stay focused and grounded to get your GPA up. Best of luck to you!
