Will I pass NCLEX? what's score is a good predictor?

Hello! I'm new here.. I'm about to take NCLEX-RN exam in 8 days.. I just want to ask cause I'm using NCLEX 4000 as my practice test and I'm getting 60%-70%.. Is it good predictor score in passing the NCLEX exam... I also have Saunders 4th ed. and I'm getting within range of 70%-80%.... I'm so anxious right now.... Anyone help pleassee helpp...:):):)

thats about what i averaged when practicing! i passed in 75!

wow reallyy.. does it have similar questions o actual nclex? thank u very much.. i really feel that im gonna pass now :) btw when did u take ur test?

Because if you talk to anyone that has taken the modern version of the NCLEX...even talk to professors....you will know that the NCLEX of today is WAAAAY more difficult than what you took 20+ years ago...the amount of material, drugs and technology that we have to learn and retain is so massive today....throw in legal and ethics issues that are more in-play in today's caring of patients.

AND...we have to pass in a limited amount of questions......I wish I had 5x250 tests over 2 days....the more questions, the better my chances of passing because I have a higher probability of answering more correctly than incorrectly if you give me a larger bank of questions to work with.

Very OLD RN here. I took 5- 250 question tests, over a 2 day period; got 5 separate grades and waited 2 months for the results. Oh yes and passed with National excellent grades. Didn't cram a bit.

I've often wondered how that would compare to a computerized 75?

Does anybody know how reliable the ATI RN predictor scores are? We have to take it twice at my school and it gave me a 99% chance of passing the NCLEX both times. I obviously plan on continuing to study and review after graduation until I take the test and I will be taking Kaplan in May, but does this mean that I have a good chance of passing? We also use Saunders but I have heard that ATI is more like the NCLEX.

Exactly how the education THEN (competitive, empathetic) compares to education NOW (normalized, pathetic).

Are you kidding me? ATI and NCLEX? Ha! WORLD of difference.

however, ATI is a good gauge of content knowledge. Do the Kaplan to learn to apply it properly, and you will be a happy camper. Best of luck!
