To me, stethoscopes, as least the cheaper one I have, feels like someone is driving a stick as hard as they can into my ears. Will more expensive models ease that? Any such thing as a headphone version?
I think so! The cheap ones I always used in school always had the hard plastic earpieces. My Littmann has the softer earpieces and I am much more comfortable with it than the others
absolutely. I would recommend a Littman. Even the less expensive Littmans have the soft, pliable ear pieces. They also let you hear things so much better than the cheaper ones. I have a Littman Cardiology III, and I love it
I've heard of people buying the Littmann ear tips (you can get them separately) and putting them on their cheap scopes. Supposedly it works well and the difference is night/day.
