Hello I too have been accepted to the RN to MSN PMHNP program for Spring 2019.

Hello Shan please did you have to take statistics in the RN-MSN program? Or had you taken previously taken the statistics course?

Hi! I'm starting the RN-PMHNP spring 2019. I've been trying to figure out what book we need for NSG-410 but it's not showing up. I'm also trying to figure out if we have to go on campus for the 2nd class (NSG-411) or not because it's not showing that on the curriculum. The admission girl that I was speaking with said that we go 3 times. Once during the 2nd course and twice in the last year of the program. On the curriculum it only shows the 2 classes (NSG-535 & NSG-536) in the 3rd year. I emailed Dr. Lucas & he got back with me & said he forwarded my email to someone that can help me & I haven't heard anything back yet.

Also, I had no clue we weren't able to use preceptors from our job. That really sucks. I should be okay in that department though (hopefully) because the doctors here at the psych facility that I work at all have outside practices. This is more of a 2nd job to them. I'm definitely going to have to look more into this so I go about it the right way.

You don't have to take statistics for this program. I checked on this already & it's not a priority nor do you have to have it done before graduation time.

Congratulations everyone. I was also accepted into the PMHNP program today, but still weary of the school. Every post on here that has any questions about it is empty. What gives? Where are the people who have went to the school? What are your thoughts?

I still go to Wilkes for PMHNP program and I am finishing this November by God's Grace. The program has been good so far and it takes alot of commitment. The good thing is that a law has been passed that all schools need to find a clinical site for their students, which is a big releive.
