Widened pulse pressure

Can anyone explain what widened pulse pressure is as it relates to a triad of symptoms dealing with Cushing's?

Thanks!

I understand :) Did you get the information you needed?

And what GrnTea said :) My thinking was there- wording was wrong :)

Just remember the Cushing's Triad is considered a late sign of increased ICP. The earliest sign is typically a change in LOC so that is what you need to look for.

And regarding what GrnTea said - just remember, big CO2 = big vessels = vasodilation = increased ICP. Little CO2 = little vessels = vasoconstriction = decreased ICP, but you can also decrease cerebral perfusion as well. It's all about trying to find a balance.
