I'm honestly trying but I just keep failing my tests. So does anyone have any other study tips besides making flashcards/quizlet?

Pharmacology is hard because you don't have enough to hang those bits of information on yet. Flashcards and mnemonics are useful in getting you through the memorization part. Have you asked your instructor for help and sought tutoring? PErhaps a more senior student would be willing to help. Also pretend YOU are teaching the information to a patient.
Asked my instructor for help and I'll be seeing an advisor next week to look into the tutoring.

In paramedic school we had to memorize and recite uses, contraindications, doses, etc of many meds, I wrote rap songs and poems that rhymed, it really made a difference. I still remember the one I wrote for atropine, lol. so maybe trying a different way of memorizing might help? Best of luck.
I'm not creative enough to do that but I think that's pretty amazing you did that lol.

Seriously try Picmonic, it really helps! The app has pharm, med/surg, fund etc. A good price too with my discount if you want.
Picmonic® Picture Mnemonics for Nursing School, Medical School, Pharm, and more!
Also, there are mnemonic pharm videos that a pharmacist did somewhere on Allnurses, just search for them!!

Watch Professor Fink on YouTube. He has an entire playlist on pharmacology and it should help you understand the major classes of drugs better.
