Why are nurses so hard on each other?

Published

I am not a nurse but do read the forums..just curious why so many nurses are hard on each other. I understand the need to be surrounded by competent people but wouldn't helping your coworker out be better than treating em crappy/blacklisting them?

Anyway, my 2 cents..

Just noticed I've been responding, in part, to a different thread, so my references to the OP won't make much sense. But, yeah, that Bill Clinton, he's really something...

Whaa--- ?? Huh? I didn't even notice that. Which thread were you partially responding to? (don't tell anybody, but I got a premium membership just so I have time to fix those :smackingf :brnfrt: )

I got this thread mixed up with one entitled: "I've been bullied all my life, and it continues..." (I think).

(You can fix these?)

It approaches the same problem from a different angle, the point of view of someone who has suffered some of that harshness from some nurses, and has been discussed by some of the same participants.

I actually voted for Clinton, twice, by the way, and though Obama won me over, I supported Hillary in the primaries. But I gotta admit, when my cat didn't have better personal judgement, I got him neutered. (Uh, that may be just a smidge off-topic...)

Well. . . in my case, I can fix spelling (hi, I don't proofread!) and occasionally tone down some of the shrillity and vitriol. Thread confusion in my own case, I'll just have to live with. And really, I think novelty prints on men's scrubs are just fine in most cases. The Winnie the Pooh theme might not be so great though. I prefer classic Pooh over Disney Pooh. Hope that helps. ;)

Classic Pooh, definitely.
