Yes this type of behavior is not exhibited in all institutions, i have yet to find 1 lol but im sure they do exist. You'll be surprised to find out that the problems that are found in these institutions are nearly unfixable. This is what drives new grads to quit or change careers. Some just drop out of nursing school, i met of few who quit after starting clinicals, saying it wasn't for them, some realize it after graduation, and some realize it after starting their 1st job. I don't think new grad thinks their above anyone. Like most other human beings, they likely don't want to work nights, they want holidays off, they want to be respected but obv, healthcare isn't the profession for most of these benefits unless you have an amazing employer willing to cater to your needs. This why people change careers, im sure if you talk to many nurses, they would love a M-F 8-4 job with weekends and holidays off. Those end up being the career switchers.
