I've noticed with certain injections that I give some of the medicine comes back out. Why does it do this and how can I stop it? Thanks!!

. . . because there's a hole in their skin and fluids leak out of holes?
You could do a z-track if that's what the administration requirements are, and that would prevent the leakage. What are the meds you're talking about?

In my experience, it is because perhaps you are injecting the medicine too fast, and taking the needle out too soon after quicly injecting. You need to apply slow and steady pressure with some meds (toradol and demerol come to mind), take out the needle slowly, or when you take the needle out, out with it will come some of the medicine.
