Who's infusing your Bam?

We have some who believe it should be chemo certified only. Others who think it should be nurses that are dedicated to only that duty as not to then care for other patients.

Thanks!

Viral antibodies don't carry the same cytotoxic characteristics as 'true' cytotoxic agents, so I'm not sure why they would need to be Chemo certified nurses.

I'm not sure what you mean by saying the nurses should have only that duty and not be caring for other patients since this isn't given to hospitalized patients.  The only place this is given in my area is in an infusion clinic.

Just looking for information here . So, you allow the covid positive patients to come into the regular infusions areas? Is this the same areas then, your chemo and other infusions are taking place I assume?  We keep those patients completely separate.  Therefore,  the staff is asking to be the same. Not sure that is doable ...

We only have one clinic that gives it and they do their infusions in individual exam rooms.  They don't do any chemo at that clinic.
