Whooooop! I got the job! :-)

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to drop in because I know I will be on this board quite a bit- more so than ever before. I had 2 interviews for a NICU position yesterday and a few hours later I was notified that I got the job! Yay! I had practicum there so I am very familiar with the unit and am so excited. I look forward to learning more from you guys! :)

Congratulations and best wishes. What an adventure lies before you! I am sure that you know that the year will be hard, full of doubts and victories and discouragement and fulfillment. A time will come, if you're like I was, when you look around and realize you've been assigned the sickest baby in your unit, and you'll probably think "My God, what were they thinking!?" followed quickly by "I can do this."
