Whoeee....it hit the fan last week for JPS, eh?

Published

Anyone care to hash over the Star-Telegram series on JPS last week? The CEO who paid 600K for a consulting company to do a patient-care assessment on the whole hospital and then.......never even bothered to read the report?

The CEO who makes > 400-500K PER YEAR while the patients are stacked up in the hallway?

Anyone here work at JPS who has any of the inside scoop, thoughts or comments about the article. Was it fair or did you think it was too harsh?

Interesting...pathetic, but interesting. It's amazing how much administrators make with regard to how little it is perceived that they actually do. This shouldn't surprise anyone. The whole issue is that they actually "tried" to make things better...by paying a company hundreds of thousands of dollars so some "experts" can come in, walk around for a few days, and then tell you everything you're doing wrong. It's something your employees have been telling you for years - for free...but you never gave a damn enough to listen. Fire them all, I say.

Check out the "reader comments" at the end of each of those Star-Telegram online articles. Most are posted by current/former patients, but there are a few from employees.
