Working as a nurse anywhere is like students in a classroom. There are mixture various people, race, culture and mostly behaviors. I thought having a job in a working environment is different from a classroom setting. But I was wrong. Its still the same concept. A lot of intrigues, alliances, and politics. Just wanna know who are you at work? And how do you handle such conflict of personalities?

Specializes in FNP, ONP.

I am Pollyanna.

I never complain, never criticize, never gossip and never associate with those that do.

I always smile. I always keep my word. I always strive to do better. I always keep my personal business to myself.

And I don't trust anyone.

So who am I at work? I am my job, so to speak. I am there to perform a function. I am not a person with thoughts, opinions or feelings, and I don't engage in personal relationships in the workplace. As a result, I have had a career devoid of drama or conflict and am enjoying a great deal of career successes.
