Who will pass nclex ?

Just wanna share some experiences. Please feel free to add if i missed anything.

FACTORS THAT AFFECT NCLEX PERFORMANCE.

1. Background : Native amrerican vs foreign education can interfere upto certain extent but can be overcome.

2. Attitude. Your inherited genetic make up and how you approach these kind test.

3. Logic. 90 % its a logic test.

4. Memory. Sometimes memory can affect your performance level. only way to overcome is to review it again.

5. Resource.Tools like books, CDS, review course, study plan etc. IMO too many books get u nowhere.

6. Practice: Depends on your Mood.:). practise questions as you use your language.

7. Knowledge: Never give up even if you didnt pass initially. coz BOARD never gonna take that knowledge from u.

8. Experience:For those who failed many times hang in there.That will boost you if your attitude is +ve

8. Health: Never ignore this point on your day or week before exam.

9. Luck: Some ppl believe in this. I donot know if it works for me. Donot try luck while answering questions!!

10.Family structure: Your full time job/ kids/ spouse/ parents. Stay away from any distracting factors under sun.

11.Emotion:Its quite natural to be in the negative emotional side during exam but come back again and cheer up!!

12. Miscelleneous: Your ATT, supportive evidence, On time, Breakfast, snacks, Water and list goes on.

13. Prayer. Pray even if you are not preparing for NCLEX!!:)

14. Gods blessing: If you satisfy your lord with all these he will satisfy you with that great gift.

IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY ALL THESE FACTORS ARE INTER RELATED. WORK UPON YOUR WEAK POINTS AND IMPROVE IT. YOU WILL GET THERE. :nurse:
