Who to take? Microbiology DCCCD

Hi!

I am going to take Microbiology this summer. Does anyone have either a professor they really LIKED or know of one to AVOID? I don't know if we are able to post names on these threads, so if you have any advice..please message me.

The person I took at Brookhaven last summer is AWESOME! To date the most knowledgeable teacher I have ever had! I am not going to sugar coat it, she was tough (especially since it was summer semester) but I would recommend her because she pushes you to be your best and you really learn in her class.

Thanks! I was just looking her up on ratemyprofessor.com... The only thing that may keep me from her class is the times it is offered this summer. I live in Rowlett, so Richland is the nearest campus, but I have been driving to North Lake all Spring for A&P I and II. Brookhaven is in the middle, so I will prob make it work.

Check out Summer 1 listing @ Richland- BIOL 2421-8202. I am currently taking this professor and she is very thorough, and provides a lot of helpful resources in addition to her powerpoints. She is not an "easy A", but if you study her reviews you will do well in her class. BIOL 2421 is for Science Majors which has more content than 2420, but is guaranteed to transfer to more schools, if you are interested in that. If you are able to wait until fall, everyone's favorite professor will be teaching both versions!I had a scheduling conflict this semester and couldnt take her... Micro is intense and might be better suited for a longer semester anyway. Check out the old listings (Spring 2010) BIOL 2421-8501 and BIOL 2420-8004 to get her name. Avoid the instructor of 2420-8501 (taught in the spring). I hope this doesn't confuse you! These instructors are all at Richland.

The old schedules are no longer available and I would really like some input on who might be the best fit for me.
