Taking a reduced course load will certainly reduce the stress. This will also help you get into the swing of things with time management and study habits so you can take on an increased load later. The downside is that it will take much longer to get through the nursing program. Good luck!
That is EXACTLY what I am doing. I am on the waiting list for my school's ADN program, and as long as one more person drops off (which is EXTREMELY likely acc. to my advisor), I will begin nursing core classes in Fall 05. So between now and then, I am taking ALL my gen ed and non nursing classes, and I am CLEPing out of a couple as well. I won't be full time AT ALL during school and I will graduate May 2007 with my ADN. Good luck! :)

if taking only the nursing classes will be easier and won't take up as much time. I know it is hard to get though nursing school because I have been reading the threads. But I will be taking only 8 hrs. this fall. They are the 2 nursing classes. Does it take some of the pressure off?
