Go Warriors! Any alumni here besides me?

In 2004, I was accepted into the ADN program and posted this question:

"I was wondering what you think/thought about the nursing program?"

If you are alumni or thinking about applying, join the thread!

I graduated from IHCC in 2005 from the ADN program and then in 2006 for my RN program and got my AA degree. I am 3-4 classes short of getting my BSN from University of Iowa. I thought that the IHCC program was pretty good, but that is my opinion.

Anyone in this forum still attend IHCC....... i just got admitted and i was looking to meet anyone that attends.......Thanks

Most of the area hospitals in Southern Iowa offer new grads anywhere from $17-21 per hour. Kirksville, MO. offers considerably more as well as Des Moines area hospitals.

These are some of IHCC hospital clinical sites :

I don't know. I do know MHP & ORHC will at least pay for RN to BSN classes through their tuition reimbursement programs. There are several nursing homes that offer to pay for CNA, LPN & RN.

Call the hospital Human Resource Dept. to see what they offer.

You can always get a student loan through FASFA http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ if the tuition reimbursement program doesn't pan out.
