Who among the three are plentiful?

I'm just wondering who among this three groups are plentiful in case retrogression is lifted and hospitals need to hire fast.

Experienced Registered Nurses who are Nclex, IELTS and Visa Screen passers or no experience Registered Nurses who are Nclex, IELTS and Visa Screen passers or Experienced Registered Nurses who can't pass Nclex, IELTS, and Visa Screen.

If they cannot pass the required exams, then they do not qualify for a visa to work in the US.

Experience is always going to get more credit in the hiring process. Only makes common sense.

But again, we have no idea of what will happen. And I still do not see it lifting for nurses, it did not lift the beginning of July.......and I called that right as well. There are still more applicants than there are visas in the first place, and until the nurses have their own schedule again, there will still be a retrogression.

And again, expect things to also be based on the birth country of the nurse if things do open up at all.

In addition to what ma'am Suzanne has stated, I think the one(nurse) who has an earlier priority date(PD) will be the one to benefit since you are only talking about retrogression per se hence an immigration concern.

Notice the question: If they already have a PD date, that means that they have already been hired and are under petition processing. The above question asks who would be hired first when the retrogression is lifted.

Experience will always win out...........

PD has nothing to do with it at all.

visas are allocated depending on birth. ie x amount of visas ar allocated to Phillipines, UK, Germany, China etc and depending on demand of visas for the country depends on how quickly you go through the process

Thank's a lot Silverdragon. Sorry for the ignorance. I am very clueless with what is happening with the retrogression. :uhoh3:

no worries, sometimes reading a lot things get lost and we all are here to learn :)

Currently, all nurses are affected by this retrogression. With the last one, it was just nurses from the PIC countries; Philippines, India, and China. And when this one started last October, it was expected to be the PIC countries as well as Mexico. However, we all got surprised when all were covered and then they did away with the Schedule A.

We still have no idea if Schedule A will surface again in October when new visas are available, or what immigration will be doing then. And still the under currents that I am hearing is that the same four countries may be affected. But nothing is in writing by the US State Dept and until the October Visa Bulletin comes out in mid-September it is only speculation as to what will happen.
