White scrubs ( sigh) and makeup

My workplace requires white scrub tops and jackets. I like to wear a little makeup to work. Scrub necklines are getting stained from foundation and its irritating. Have tried multiple detergents, Borax, bleach. To no avail. Anyone with suggestions- other than no makeup??

Maybe woolite or detergent made just for whites

How about make-up that doesn't "shed?" I use a 24 hour make-up that once its on, its on until I take it off and it doesn't smear on my clothes

Ugh, white scrubs are the worst!! Why do administrators want to torture us?

I think it depends on the brand of scrubs. I always had good luck bleaching my Grey's Anatomy classic white scrub tops, and I stained them with all kinds of crap (like bright purple splatter from a rogue blueberry smoothie straw). In contrast, I had a white Cherokee jacket that never really cleaned up, even after soaking for several hours in bleach.

Do you wear anything to set your makeup? I don't wear makeup to work, but outside of work I've had good success with Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray.

I also wonder if the issue with foundation stains has to do with the oils/moisturizers in the product (in addition to the pigment). Perhaps you could experiment with some Carbona Stain Devils (not sure if you've ever seen these, but they stock the individual components at some grocery stores):
