Hello, let's start a thread about the new thread on the White Memorial RN Residency (Versant) program.

I recently got a call for an interview, but am curious about certain things about the interview and process. Please, can anyone answer the following.

Has anyone gotten a call back for an interview? Did any get a call back without doing the questionnaire? Is the first interview a panel interview? Did White Memorial change the program from ER only to all units(because the name on the application site changed)?

What did you guys think of the interviews for ED? 4 spots and 20 interviewed isn't too bad.

I haven't heard anything from ED either. When did you interview for the ED jeyoure?

Just yesterday - I was just wondering how everyone felt about it. They said the program starts sept 8.

20 of us also interviewed for the ER over 3 weeks ago. So either all 20 of us are out, or they are waiting to make final decision after they interviewed the 20 most recent candidates from the 2nd round of applications

So maybe 4 positions out of 40 interviews? Ugh way worse odds haha! They said they'd notify us of decisions in a couple weeks so I guess we will find out!

We thought that too! But they opened ER new grad program 1 month before the other new grad opened. So I think they took more applicants from the second batch. I hope we hear soon!!

I also thought the interview wasn't too bad. Everyone in the panel was very nice. I was also told that they were only interviewing 20 for 4 spots as well. It wouldn't make sense to have interviewed this group and not consider the past group... Though I guess maybe they are doing things differently? I went into the interview expecting it to have two rounds, but it's only one. Best of luck everyone! =)

I am in the same group as jeyoure as one of the most recent 20 they interviewed so it will be a couple of weeks before we hear anything.

I have me second interview this time with the unit manager for critical care on Thursday and the med calc test. I was wondering if the unit manager also gives the critical thinking questions as well or if they are more behavioral? Any knowledge????
