White Memorial 2014 RN Residency Program (Versant)

U.S.A. California

Hello, let's start a thread about the new thread on the White Memorial RN Residency (Versant) program.

I recently got a call for an interview, but am curious about certain things about the interview and process. Please, can anyone answer the following.

Has anyone gotten a call back for an interview? Did any get a call back without doing the questionnaire? Is the first interview a panel interview? Did White Memorial change the program from ER only to all units(because the name on the application site changed)?

Hi everyone,

I got a call today for the Nurse recruiter to set up for an interview this Monday. I forgot to ask, when will the program start, do any of you guys know?

NurseAngy, What position?

NurseAngy so they are doing interviews? I thought they were done. Maybe they didn't like us. Hehe

is this for the 2nd interview?

This is my first interview, I believe its a panel interview I'm not sure when the position starts because I know of others who interviewed with them like last month. It's for medsurg and ED.

Your interview is for the ED and medsurg floor?

Yes and no. I asked the nurse recruiter what position the interview was for and he said all of them. He asked me to give him the units of my choice. This is my first interview, a panel interview. The next one, if I get offered one will be with the unit manager.

I Remember they opened the ER new grad position, and later another New grad position without specifying the unit. I tried to apply to the second one and it didn't let me. It said l had already applied even though the job # was different. So i guess the interviews they're conducting are for other units, maybe including ER.

kuky did you hear about the ER position already?

Hey I have an interview for Wednesday the 23. Its the panel interview as well. I was wondering if they ask situational questions or is it behavioral? Any information about this interview would be great

No nurse Angy. Have you tried contacting them? @megsblm both types of questions but the situational ones... for me were more about Protocols

Thanks kuky420!
