Hi everyone! Who else has applied and does anyone know by when will they start to contact us for interviews? This would be my last chance to get into a new grad program, otherwise I would have to wait til the summer. So please feel free to post anything and everything here! Good luck to everyone!!

I was only given Monday the 29th as a choice. I am not sure if there was other dates. Did you try calling them back?

Yes. I tried calling back a few times and left a message. Did you have choices in time slots? I have an important appointmet at 11 on Monday and I just hope I dont have to reschedule but ofcourse I would if I have to. Thanks for the info!

I only had afternoon time slots. Do you know if we have to have the 5 year plan essay with us??

I am not sure what type of questions will be asked and I haven't been able to contact HR to see if we would need the essay that day. if someone else has luck getting through please share.

it never specified...im so looking forward to this and the more I think about how to prepare the more nervous I get!! I wonder how many people in total got called and how many will be hired! Good luck to us all!! See you tomorrow!! lol

I finally got back, I'm scheduled for an interview Nov. 6th. Did anyone else receive a call for this date? I also asked about the 5-year plan essay and I was informed that it was not necessary. Good luck to all those going in today. Let us know how it went.

I had an interview today and here is some more info. They have or are going to contact 50 candidates for 25 positions at the hospital. They had about 600 applicants to the program and are interviewing all the way to January. If you passed the first rounds of interview, you would be asked back to interview with the unit manager.

Congratulations! I'm so nervous about this interview. Would you mind sharing if they ask clinical scenario questions? or only behavioral? What units are you all choosing? I put med/surg and telemetry as my top choices. Good luck everyone!!

Only interviewing 50 candidates from 600 applicants!! I guess I feel happy I made it this far.

They definitely asked behaviorial questions but I was so nervous- I don't remember them. It was not the typical- what are your strengths and weaknesses- it was more in-depth. There was one about safety- what would you do if you saw a nurse that did something that was unethical or illegal- what would you do? I had three people interview me in a conference room and each had a sheet of paper to rate you. I chose critical care and cardiac care for my units of choice. Good luck to you too!

I had an interview yesterday as well.. I only had two people with me in the room.. I was the second to last person. I was so nervous! overall I don't know how I feel about it, I didn't get much feedback from them. so I don't know how to feel about it. So there is only 50 people right now still in the running?? out of 600.. is that right??

Yes- they said they had over 600 applicants and only reached out to about 50 candidates for 25 positions. I didn't ask when I would hear back from them? Did you?
