I know that most people figure this out during their clinical rotations, but I'd really like to get some opinions from other people. I am a people person and love to talk and listen to people around me. I want to be able to get to know my patients, but at the same time, I want to know that every day I work, I am saving a life. At first I was thinking I would like to be an ER nurse, but then I realized that once that patient is treated, they are shipped off to a different branch. SO anyway, does anone have any suggestions?

Hey! I totally know how you feel! It seems like the closer I get to graduating, the LESS I know what I want to do. I think it's important to remember that no matter where you start out in nursing, you will ALWAYS be able to change your mind and you will ALWAYS have options. Afterall, that's one of the things that is so amazing about this career. Our opportunities are literally endless!!
