Which state can I take the NCLEX?????

Published

I took a non-credidated but state board approved lpn program. When I finish I will be moving out of state to FLorida. My question is although I took the course in Mass am I bound to take the NCLEX in Massachusetts as well or can I wait until I move to Florida to take the NCLEX?

I would contact the BON for where you plan to test at and ask that question.

NCLEX can be sat in any state or country as long as the center caters for NCLEX and you have a valid ATT and made a schedule

You are going to need to check to see if Florida recognizes the training from there. Just because it is accepted in one state does not mean that it will meet the requirements for all states.

And just because you may be able to write the NCLEX exam where you are doing your schooling, one must have their educational training meet the requirements of the new state. And this does not always work out.

Check with the FL BON before you do anything else and best of luck to you.
