Which of the sciences did you find hardest?

Published

Hi everyone! Just wondering which of the sciences you found to be the hardest/most tedious. I'm currently extremely intimidated by organic chemistry, although I hear its not as bad as the "med school dream crusher" organic chem.

Which science was the hardest for you? Micro, organic chem, a&p?

Thanks!

Micro was my least favorite even though I got an A because my professor gave us review sheets before exams. Any other professor and I probably would have struggled majorly. I love A&P and Organic Chem was boring but I had a great professor.

A&P 1. I stupidly took that course before I took general biology so it was all new to me.

The one I was currently taking. ;).

Chemistry by far

Specializes in PICU.

I haven't taken micro yet, so I would say A&P I was the hardest class. It might have been because it was only 5 1/2 weeks. I managed to get a B and It was a miracle that I got a B. I had never been so happy to get a B in my life...lol. A&P II I got an A and general chemistry I got an A. Don't get me wrong, those classes were definitely tough, but not as tough as A&P I.

Micro. Because I thought it was boring so it was hard to get involved in the material.

Gen Chem for sure, but not because the subject itself was hard. I liked the labs, but I had the hardest time staying awake in the lecture portion of that class. A lot of was the instructor, but I just don't find the subject interesting at all, and that makes it really hard to focus on.

OMG! Chem! Hated it, still really don't 'get' it fully. Thanfully I had a chem professor that loved his job (chemistry) and teaching about it. Without him, I would have never passed it and certainly not with the A I got. That's not to say I'd ever want to have to retake chemistry or anything related to it again :)

Loved A&P. Thought I'd hate Micro but soon realized I loved it, not as much as I love A&P but I do find it fascinating.
